    Description

This solid (not plated) sterling silver beer jug pitcher #9590 was presented to Lt. Commander G.N. Reeves who was commander of the USS Bruce DD-329, a Clemson Class destroyer in service from  1920 to 1930.  The beer jug is 6.5 inches tall and holds 8 pints.  It weighs 525 grams and was made by Watson Company in Attleboro, Mass. One side is engraved "BEST WISHES FROM WARD ROOM OFFICERS U.S.S. BRUCE 1927".  Inside looks like it has a gold wash, but does not. Jug is highly polished (original) and shows a lot of reflections in the photos.  Excellent condition with very minimal wear.  FAST & FREE SHIPPING in U.S.
