    vintage
    Ford Zephyr hood ornament / mascot.
    It has never been used, but has a bit of shelf wear from age.
    Stamped on the side is:
    PAT. 2026779.
    Condition

    This is in good condition. It has never been used, but shows some age due to long time storage. I'm listing it as used because I don't have the box.
    The chrome finish
    looks good for the age. There are some spots of surface finish loss and slight roughness where the surface finish has worn away, as well as some bubbling and a couple of light dings. There are a few small pinhead / pin prick sized pits. They are light, just where the surface finish has worn away. There are no deep pits. I don't see any cracks. This is a nice solid piece.
