  • Condition: This paperback is in very good condition. There are a couple of age-spots on the rear cover and sun-fading to the spine. Damage is limited to small corner creases in front cover, Clean interior with no markings or soiling, but age-spotting to top of the page edges. No damage to pages, but for some reason page 45-46 is pasted in place. Binding remains tight and square. Book appears never to have been read. A nice copy.

    A Dictionary of the Choctaw Language
    by Cyrus Byington. It was issued by the Smithsonian in 1915 as Bureau of American Ethnology, bulletin 46. It consists 378 pages preceded by 49 pages of photos of Choctaw Indians at that time.
