It has clean covers with no markings or soiling except for a barely seen, small smudge below the A letter in Dancing on the title (seen in photos). No chips, tears, or creases in covers except for a light bump to the front cover bottom corner. This bump also left a light, 1/2-inch indentation along the bottom fore--edge of most pages. Clean interior with no markings or soiling. No damage to pages. Binding remains tight and square. A choice copy!

    Dancing Kachinas: A Hope Artist's Documentary.
    It was published in 1971 by The Heard Museum of Anthropology and Primitive Art, and printed by Andy Chunka Printing. The book measures 8.25 x 11-inches in size, and contains 32 unnumbered pages. Eleven pages at the end contain color photos of 48 different painting by Hopi artist Cliff Bahnimptwea. 264 of his 286 painting are in The Nichols Collection, and named here. See photos for examples from the 48 ones seen in this book.
