After using this for a few weeks, doing setup work and mechanical work on cars, I can say this tool is worth your bucks! You will have to loosen tight bolts and nuts before use otherwise the motor will cut. Has a noticeable wobble but still works well with extensions, deep sockets, and bits . BATTERY LIFE IS GREAT AND VERY SLEEK, enough to fit into your small tool box drawer. I’ve gotten muck, coolant, oil and grease on this machine, loosen tight bolts using the ratchet mechanism and it still kicks like brand new. I would recommend!
I got the urge to buy a power ratchet after watching some videos and recalling the many times I've dealt with bolts that needed endless back and forth time on wrenches or sockets in a small space. This Kimo one had great reviews and I'm really happy with it, solid feeling and runs smooth, great substantial plastic case and a set of commonly used metric sockets. It feels strong when using to break nuts loose by hand and then spins them off nicely. Glad I finally got one of these great tools! I like how they also have a line of other tools that use the same battery pack.
I specifically purchased this power ratchet for removing 12 door fasteners and the 8 hardtop screws. The variable speed makes the task very controlled so you won’t overtorque the fasteners and strip the threads. Since making the video I went through the entire removal and re-attachment of the 20 total fasteners twice more. That is a total of 3 sets of 20 , off and on and the battery indicates green. Very impressive battery life. The new LiPo battery tech is awesome. Personally I treasure the 6 point sockets as they are significantly less prone to rounding off bolt heads. Definitely a good product for a hobbyist.
