Fine hand made Martele sterling silver pitcher with hand punched poppies and a fancy relief monogram. It is marked Martele on the bottom along with the Gorham makers mark. Martele was produced
by master silversmiths under the direction of William C. Codman.
Age -
Early 20th century
Size -
It measures approximately 10 + 1/2 inches to the top of the handle by 9 + 5/8 inches from the back of the handle to the tip of the spout by 4 + 7/8 inches across the bottom. It weighs approximately 54.15 troy ounces.
Condition -
Age appropriate, a tiny push on the top of the handle and the tip of the spout may or may not have a slight bend(may have been made that way), see photos for compete assessment.
