Description
Navajo Sterling Silver Concho Belt by Harry Morgan. Condition is "Pre-owned".Bold authentic Navajo Concho belt with 1 belt buckle, 6 Conchos and 7 butterflys. The leather is in beautiful condition with minimal wear. Each sterling silver piece is in near perfect condition. This belt is made for a small waisted person. There is two placed holes too accommodate for two different waist sizes.

The total belt length is 35.5 inches.
Belt buckle is 3 by 2.5 inches
Conchos are 2 1/2 by 2.15 inches
Butterfly's are 1 by 1 3/4 inch
1st hole is at 32.5 inches, 2nd hole is at 34 inches
History of Silversmith artist Harry Morgan:
Harry Morgan was a 5th generation Navajo silversmith. He was born, and raised on the Navajo reservation in Arizona. Harry Morgan started making jewelry at age 7 then pursued being a cowboy. Harry Morgan then returned to pursue being a silversmith in 1965. He has won many awards at Indian art shows, and has his work in the Heard museum. Sadly, he passed away in 2008 a year after his work was exhibited in the Heard museum.
