    Description

    Sterling silver wine carafe / ewer pitcher by Howard with raised floral decoration across and a raised finial atop from 1904. Measuring 16 1/2'' in height by 7 1/2'' from handle to spout and weighing 49.7 ozt. Bearing hallmarks as shown.
    Howard & Company was located at 264 Fifth Avenue in New York and were jewelers and silversmiths. Howard & Co. made outstanding silver and had shops in New York, Newport, London and Paris during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Owner J.P.
