Description
I bought this Concho belt to scale down to a hatband. It worked great in dressing up a hat, but it does add a few ounces of weight. Should you want to revert it back to a belt, the 3/4" belt can be replaced with a new one, just be sure it's about the same thickness. The dusty Stetson doesn't come with this sale, but when it's all cleaned up and polished, wow! The Conchos are 8.8 grams of sterling with copper belt holders, 12 total, and the unused buckle is 11.6 grams of the same. The Conchos measure 2 1/16" wide by 1 1/16" tall, the buckle is 2 3/8" wide by 1 3/8" tall. A very nice design stamped on each Concho and buckle with no cracks, tears, dents or damage. Hallmarked WA and stamped Sterling on the buckle. The belt has been cut, and I kept the excess and extra Conchos and buckle, which does come with the sale. I cleaned one Concho to show how nice and easy they clean up. Took 30 seconds. It's quick and easy to clean Sterling Silver, but since it takes so long to gain that patina, I thought I'd let the new owner decide whether to clean it or not.Cleaning: The easiest and quickest way to clean Sterling Silver is with Never-Dull wading polish, under . Use about a cotton ball size piece of the wading material and wipe the surface lightly for about 10 to 15 seconds, then wipe with a paper towel.
I don't have a return policy, so be sure and ask any questions before purchasing this item. Go by all the details I have included and all the photos I have shown. I have tried to be as accurate and detailed as possible. I smoke cigars, so I don't know if this item has retained any of that odor, probably. Thank you for taking the time to look over this fantastic piece of Native American artistry.
